SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to determine the service life of rolled bitumen-containing and polymeric materials used for waterproofing of underground parts of buildings and structures. The invention relates to the field of construction, specifically to a method for determining the service life of rolled bitumen-containing and polymeric materials used for waterproofing underground parts of buildings and structures, which consists in the selection, preparation, artificial aging and subsequent testing of the physical and mechanical properties of reference samples subjected to artificial aging. Samples prepared from the used industrial batch are applied as reference samples, the artificial aging of samples of the material used is carried out by placing the selected samples in clean tap water with a temperature of 70±2°C for a time calculated in accordance with the rate of the aging reaction, in accordance with the heuristic calculation formula, and the physical and mechanical properties of aged material samples are tested at various stages of material aging.
EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of quality control of the applied waterproofing materials.
