FIELD: engine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in manufacturing and operation of engines for vehicles. The fuel-air mixture (FA) is homogenized at λ≤0.5. After closing the purge and outlet windows of the working cylinder, the fuel assemblies are fed into the circular channel around the combustion chamber, which is used as a pre-ignition chamber, and into the combustion chamber at a pressure greater than atmospheric pressure. Fuel assemblies in the combustion chamber are depleted by 0.6≤λ≤2.0, air from the working cylinder. In the pre-ignition chamber, combustion chamber and in the working cylinder, different quality of fuel assemblies is ensured. Then spark ignition of fuel assemblies is carried out. The ignition advance timing is set in the range of 0°…+20° after TDC, depending on the speed of the engine crankshaft when the working cylinder is completely filled with atmospheric air in all engine operating modes and at a compression ratio in the combustion chamber of ε =10…20. The fuel assemblies are ignited simultaneously with several plugs, the electrodes of which are located in the upper circular channel. According to another option, in the range of the stroke of the working piston from top dead centre (TDC) to bottom dead centre (BDC), water or its mixture with other liquids is fed into the combustion chamber.
EFFECT: combination of features of the proposed cycle of operation and design of the engine ensures the achievement of the claimed technical result, which consists in increasing the stability of the engine, its power and efficiency.
