FIELD: engine building.

SUBSTANCE: essence of invention consists in that engine comprises working cylinder with working piston, compressor cylinder, with one or more fuel supply devices, and with compressor piston, kinematically connected to working piston, combustion chamber, prechamber with ignition plug and channels for supply of fuel-air mixture from compressor cylinder into combustion chamber. Engine is additionally equipped with two or more spark plugs installed in the annular channel located around the combustion chamber, so that the candle electrodes enter the cavity of the annular channel. Presence of additional ignition plugs increases the number of zones in which free radicals of AFM components are formed simultaneously. Amount of radicals in combustion chamber volume increases. This increases stability of AFM ignition and combustion. Placement of electrodes of additional ignition plugs in cavity of annular channel approximates formed combustion front to top dead point of working piston, which promotes more complete combustion of AFM.

EFFECT: increased stability of engine operation and its efficiency, reduced fuel consumption and toxicity of exhaust gases.
