SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biochemistry, in particular to a method for selecting watermelon plants characterized by productive flowering. The method for identifying a watermelon plant containing three genetic determinants that are genetically or physically linked to 3 marker loci that segregate together with the feature being a productive flowering is also disclosed.
EFFECT: possibility to effectively identify watermelon plants characterized by productive flowering.
