SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to neurology, obstetrics, gynecology, laboratory diagnostics, and can be used to diagnose cognitive impairment in pregnant women with hypertensive disorders. The concentration of brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) is determined in blood serum. If its value is equal to or higher than 16.3 ng/ml, cognitive impairment is diagnosed in pregnant women with hypertensive disorders.
EFFECT: method provides the possibility of objectification, speed of implementation, increase in the accuracy of diagnosis of cognitive impairment in pregnant women with hypertensive disorders, increase in specificity and sensitivity due to the determination of BDNF concentration in blood.
