FIELD: medicine; anaesthesiology; resuscitation; oncology; thoracic surgery.
SUBSTANCE: multimodal anaesthesia is conducted. During one-lung ventilation, high-flow oxygen insufflation is carried out with a flow rate of 30 to 50 litres per minute, the supplied oxygen-air mixture with an oxygen fraction of 21% to 80%, and the temperature of the supplied oxygen-air mixture of 34°C.
EFFECT: method provides increased efficiency of ventilation support in patients with cancer during one-lung ventilation during video-assisted thoracoscopic operations due to the use of high-flow oxygen insufflation; provides a reduction in the time of surgery and the duration of the anaesthetic period itself, which reduces the probability of postoperative complications.
