SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a base material for production of a decorated wall or floor panel. The base material may contain a matrix material and a solid material, and the matrix material is present in an amount of from≥ 25% to < 55% by weight of the base material, the solid material is present in an amount of from≥ 45% to≤ 75% by weight of the base material. The matrix material and the solid material together may be present in an amount≥ of 95% by weight of the base material. The base material is different in that the solid material is formed by at least 50% by weight of the solid material from a solid composition consisting of at least the first layered silicate powder and the second layered silicate powder, and the matrix material is formed by at least 50% by weight of the matrix material of the plastic composition, consisting of a homopolymer and at least the first copolymer and the second copolymer. In this case, additional substances are additionally present in the base material in an amount of up to <5% by weight of the base material.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to manufacture load-bearing boards for wall or floor panels based on the claimed material, which have good mechanical properties and good manufacturability, and also have improved elastic properties compared to known mineral-polymer composites.
