FIELD: data processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of services using short-range communication, namely, to establishing a wireless connection with an aerosol providing apparatus. To realise the technical result, a status request packet is received without establishing a connection from a remote wireless device via a wireless communication interface of the aerosol providing apparatus, a response packet is created in response to receiving the request packet in a state without establishing a connection using the wireless communication interface, and the response packet is transmitted via the wireless communication interface. The response packet herein includes first data from the memory device of the aerosol providing apparatus and second data generated by the aerosol providing apparatus and stored in the memory device.
EFFECT: connection established between the central and peripheral devices if the initial announcement period does not overlap with the initial scan window, due to the fact that an announcement period overlapping with the scan window is to be executed after a certain number of announcement and scan intervals.
