FIELD: aerosol devices.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of control of a wireless communication interface of an aerosol delivery device. To achieve the effect, the operation of the wireless communication interface of the aerosol delivery device is called in the listening mode. While in listen mode, data is received from the wireless interface of another aerosol delivery device. The received data is stored in a storage device of the aerosol delivery device. An unconnected announcement packet, which includes information related to the identification data and the announcement state of the aerosol delivery device, is generated using a wireless communication interface of the aerosol delivery device and transmitted through the wireless communication interface. A connectionless status request packet is received from a remote wireless device over the wireless interface. In response to receiving the request packet, a connectionless state response packet is generated using the wireless interface, and the response packet is transmitted over the wireless interface. At least one of the announcement packet and the response packet includes received data from the storage device and data generated by the aerosol delivery device and stored in the storage device.

EFFECT: provides devices using a communication protocol to communicate with said device to operate as a master/central device and a slave/peripheral device in different communication relationships simultaneously based on time separation.
