FIELD: wireless communication equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to data transmission from aerosol delivery device using packet transfer without connection establishment. For this the following steps are provided: maintaining, during use of the aerosol delivery device in the aerosol delivery device memory device, the aerosol delivery device usage information recording information; creation from a storage device, without establishing a connection, using a wireless communication interface of an aerosol delivery device, a status advertisement packet, including information relating to identification; aerosol delivery device status announcement and first aerosol delivery device usage characteristics recording data set; and transmitting the advertisement packet through the wireless communication interface.
EFFECT: enabling access to information related to the aerosol delivery device, in an energy-saving manner, and enabling access to information relating to the delivery device in a non-intrusive manner.
