FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed set comprises bag and container including metal case with tight cover of container inner chamber. Said bag is arranged with preset radial clearance to ensure heat-conducting contact between bag outer surface and container case inner surface in loaded state and at thermal effects brought about by fuel rod arrays. Bag is made from stainless steel and comprises top and bottom spacer grids. Hexagonal tubes to receive used fuel rod arrays are welded tightly to grid edges. Lining is attached to bag edges to form tight tube space to be filled with heat-conducting neutron-absorbing composition.
EFFECT: higher operating performances of proposed set.
