FIELD: welding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to welding fluxes and can be used in the manufacture of fused welding fluxes, which can be used in welding and surfacing with a consumable electrode of steel plates of various thicknesses. The manufacture of fused welding fluxes of the following composition, wt.%: SiO2 8.7-14.94, FeO: 48.24-66.05, СаО: 15.4-21.03, MgO: 2.33-3.81, Al2O3: 4.87-7.73, MnO: 5.56-5.98, in which metallurgical production wastes are used in the preparation of charge materials, namely, metallurgical slags of steelmaking. The invention can be used to obtain welding fluxes from man-made waste from metallurgical production containing a large amount of iron, in particular metallurgical slags, for welding and surfacing steels, in particular for welding low- and medium-alloy steels and alloys.
EFFECT: reduced waste of metallurgical enterprises by processing metallurgical slags into welding materials, namely into welding fluxes; production of a flux with stable welding and technological properties, ensuring the production of welded joints without reducing the quality of the deposited metal.
