FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in arc-assisted arc welding and surfacing of steels under the flux. Flux contains production of silicomanganese gas cleaning dust of 59–67 wt. % and liquid glass 33–41 wt. %.
EFFECT: invention reduces the cost of producing flux and welding process owing to efficient utilization of fine dust of gas cleaning of silicomanganese production, reduction of contamination of steel with non-metallic inclusions and reduction of loss of alloying elements at welding and surfacing, as well as increase of hardness and wear resistance of the welded product.
