FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for surfacing the working surfaces of parts of metallurgical equipment, which are subject to increased requirements for hardness and wear resistance. Charge for flux-cored wire contains dust of electro-filters of aluminum production and gas cleaning dust of production of silico-manganese in the following ratio of components, wt.%: silica-manganese production gas cleaning dust 47–80, dust electrostatic precipitators aluminum production 20–53. Introduction of the gas cleaning dust of the production of silico-manganese to the charge of the powder wire allows the reduction of manganese from the oxides of the gas cleaning of the production of silicomanganese by carbon contained in the gas cleaning dust of aluminum, whereby to obtain a weld metal with increased wear resistance and utilize the waste to produce the desired material.
EFFECT: charge for flux-cored wire is proposed.
