FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method of pressure coupling of shaft-sleeve-type part. Shaft is pressed into the sleeve and the shaft is shifted relative to the sleeve in the direction opposite to the direction of shaft movement during pressing until the shaft-sleeve connection breaks. In this case, a press is used, containing a main cylinder and an auxiliary cylinder oppositely located relative to the pressed shaft. The shaft is pressed into the sleeve by the main cylinder puncheon, and the shaft is shifted relative to the sleeve by the auxiliary cylinder puncheon by creating a hydraulic shock in the piston cavity of the auxiliary cylinder and in the rod end of the main cylinder. Pressing the shaft into the sleeve is alternated with disconnections with the ability to control their number and frequency.
EFFECT: strength of the assembled joint is increased.
