STEAM TURBINE LOW PRESSURE INNER CYLINDER Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC F01D25/28 F01D25/26

Abstract RU 2793872 C1

FIELD: power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of power engineering, in particular turbine construction, specifically, to the supporting structures of low-pressure cylinders of steam turbines. The low-pressure inner cylinder of a horizontally split steam turbine is provided with a support placed under the lower half of the inner cylinder. The support contains side panels with central recesses and through holes located on the side of the front and rear ends of the inner cylinder perpendicular to the vertical plane passing through the axis of the steam turbine. Each side panel of the support consists of end parts provided with keyed connections and support elements, and a middle part connected to the end parts by a detachable connection. The central recesses of the side panels are equipped with guides that provide thermal displacement of the inner cylinder. The side panels are interconnected by stiffening elements made in the form of ties located one above the other and grouped in vertical rows parallel to the vertical plane, with the end parts of the side panels connected by at least one vertical row of ties, and the middle parts by at least two vertical rows screeds. Through holes are made between the vertical rows of ties.

EFFECT: prevention of jamming of the inner low-pressure cylinder relative to the support and displacement of the axis of the inner cylinder relative to the axis of the steam turbine in order to ensure the reliability of the steam turbine, reduce the metal consumption of the structure, and facilitate the process of transporting the steam turbine to the power plant.
