SUBSTANCE: gear transmission of the power reducer contains wheels, the tooth profiles of which are made with involute sections and non-pole sections of a convex profile at the head and a tooth concave at the root connected to them, moreover, the nominal surface of the contact patch in engagement along the width of the teeth is determined based on condition of providing external friction, in which relative movement of the tooth surfaces in the sliding direction does not lead to a violation of the continuity of the material, according to the calculated ratio, taking into account the relationship of the micro shape of the tooth surfaces with the physical and mechanical properties of the material and the loads that arise during operation.
EFFECT: increased durability of the gear train.
