FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method for determining a patient's response to neuropharmacological intervention, a system and a machine-readable medium for its implementation. First structural neurological data are obtained from a patient population before a neuropharmacological intervention. Moreover, these first structural neurological data characterize the physical structure of a plurality of cortical areas. The physical structure is the cortex thickness (CT) and/or bark surface area (SA). The first correlation matrix is created based on the first structural neurological data by assigning a set of structural nodes corresponding to the cortical areas and determining pairwise correlations between structural nodes based at least in part on the corresponding data of the first structural neurological data. Second structural neurological data are obtained from the said patient population after the neuropharmacological intervention. Moreover, these second structural neurological data characterize the said physical structure of a plurality of cortical areas. The second correlation matrix is created based on the second structural neurological data by determining pairwise correlations between structural nodes based at least in part on the corresponding data of the second structural neurological data. EFFECT: group of inventions allows to determine the responses of the tauopathic patient population to neuropharmacological intervention in the form of a drug product with a symptomatic or disease-modifying effect.
