FIELD: medicine; radionuclide diagnostics.

SUBSTANCE: method can be used in neurology and cardiac surgery. Single-photon emission computer tomography of celebrum is performed before and 1 month after coronary shunting to calculate cerebral blood current in forehead and parietal lobes. If blood current reduces in at least one of mentioned lobes in comparison with values before operation more than by 3 ml/vin/100 g of tissue and/or pre-operation level of blood current less than 45 ml.vin/100 g, then probability of development of stable cognitive deficiency equals to 70%. In this case the proper prophylactic treatment is prescribed.

EFFECT: reduced number of post-operational complications.
