SUBSTANCE: invention relates to paper rewinding devices. A paper rewinding machine is proposed for the manufacture of paper rolls for retail trade, containing a pair of support rollers, a rewinding mandrel supported by a pair of support rollers so that longitudinally cut paper for retail is wound into many paper rolls for retail around the rewinding mandrel during rotation of a pair of support rollers, a slitting unit made with the possibility of longitudinal cutting of retail paper before winding retail paper on a rewinding mandrel, and a hydraulic drive, made with the ability to extract the rewinding mandrel from a variety of paper rolls for retail. A method for operation of a paper rewinding machine is also proposed.
EFFECT: invention provides high efficiency during use.
