SUBSTANCE: gas compressor units, namely, the connection of a gas turbine engine with a power turbine and an output shaft with an exhaust device containing an exhaust volute when they are installed in a gas compressor unit. Gas compressor unit, including a gas turbine engine with a power turbine and an output shaft, an exhaust device containing an exhaust volute movably connected by the front part to the power turbine housing, and to the output shaft housing by means of a movable sealing ring. The power turbine housing includes an inner flange with an outer diameter D, the output shaft housing includes an output shaft flange with an outer diameter d, and the exhaust volute is made with an inner wall with an outer diameter Dy in its front part. The inner flange of the power turbine and the front part of the exhaust volute in the movable joint are installed with an axial clearance S between their ends, and the sealing ring and the output shaft flange are installed with a radial gap C in compliance with the ratio of the areas of the gaps in the places of the movable connection of the above elements

The outer diameter D of the inner flange of the power turbine housing at the place of the movable joint along the inner wall of the volute at (3÷5) mm exceeds the outer diameter Dy of the volute in its front part.
EFFECT: increase in the operational reliability and service life of the gas turbine engine and the gas compressor unit as a whole.
