The support contains a central core in the form of a parallelepiped and a protective shell. The core is formed from at least two strips. The strips are superimposed on each other and are made of hardwood or wood-based materials. The shell covers the core and is made in one piece. The shell contains an upper and lower surface, two side surfaces and at least one internal baffle. The partition may extend between adjacent or between opposite surfaces. The partition, together with the peripheral walls, defines at least two sections. The shape of the sections corresponds to the shape of the strips of the cores. The strips contain a plurality of interlayers formed along their thickness. The interlayers of each strip are connected to the interlayer of adjacent strips by plastic pins.
