FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: sleeper (8) comprises a stiff block (9) with a lower surface (34) and an upper surface (32) for placing on it at least one longitudinal rail (4). On a pad (20) there is a stiff block (9) in the form of a stiff shell with a bottom (48) and a peripheral board (50), which borders the bottom (48). An elastic gasket (22) is installed between the lower surface of the stiff block (9) and the bottom (48) of the pad (20). The elastic pad (22) has dynamic stiffness from 6 to 10 kN/mm, preferably from 6 to 8 kN/mm. On the upper surface (32) of the block (9) there is an elastic support element, onto which a rail (4) is laid. The dynamic stiffness of the support element (10) makes from 120 to 300 kN/mm, preferably from 200 to 300 kN/mm.
EFFECT: increased capability of a sleeper to vibration damping, in particular, in the range of frequencies of up to 250 Hz, which are assumed to capable of producing harmful effect at near structures, limiting fatigue and loads at a railway track system at the same time.
