FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture. A method for producing encapsulated fertilizers by treating urea granules with solutions of sodium silicate and calcium chloride at a stoichiometric ratio of components, using hydroquinone - an inhibitor of urease activity and boric acid - a plant growth activator, with hydroquinone being introduced in an amount of 0.02 wt.%, and boric acid in amount of 0.24 wt.% in an aqueous solution of sodium silicate.
EFFECT: invention allows to obtain encapsulated urea of prolonged action with an inhibitor of urease activity - hydroquinone and a plant growth activator - boric acid.
