FIELD: radio communications.
SUBSTANCE: module is proposed for determining the optimal mutual direction of the beams of the radiation patterns of the interfaced communication nodes, which contains a receiving path, including a path for controlling the amplitude and phase of the signals. The receiving path includes elements of the antenna array 1 that do not have electrodynamic connections between themselves, phase shifters 2, amplifiers with controlled gain 3, a signal combiner 4, a directional coupler 5 having at least two directional outputs and one direct output, analogue-to-digital detector 6, matched load 7, normalizing amplifier 8 and high-frequency signal transmission line 9. Phase shifters 2 and amplifiers with controlled gain 3 form a path to control the amplitude and phase of the signals coming from the elements of the antenna array 1.
EFFECT: automatic pairing of two nodes of a communication network with a narrow radiation pattern by determining the mutual direction of the highest transmission efficiency.
