FIELD: machine tool building.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to assess the quality of manufacturing, assembly of machine tools with numerical control, determining areas of the working space with the least rigidity, as well as the current state of the carrier system of machine tools. The method includes monitoring the accuracy of a metal-cutting machine with a measuring telescopic sensor with spherical tips fixed in thrust bearings, which makes circular movements around one of the thrust bearings. In this case, the diagnostics are carried out under load when an adjustable driving centrifugal force is applied to the moving nodes, equal in absolute value to the forces arising in the process of milling a test part.
EFFECT: increasing the amount of information obtained during the diagnostics, as well as increasing the reliability of the diagnostics.
