METHOD OF OBTAINING THERMAL ENERGY Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC F23C99/00

Abstract RU 2794914 C1

FIELD: thermal power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of thermal power engineering, namely to methods of obtaining thermal energy from hydrocarbon raw materials, and may be used in thermal power engineering, electric power engineering, chemical and petrochemical industries. The method consists in preliminary mixing of hydrocarbon fuel with an oxidizer, combustion of hydrocarbon fuel with insufficient access of oxidizer, wherein during the combustion process an over-enriched mixture is created at a ratio of oxidizer to fuel in the range from 0.25 to 8.0 m3 of oxidizer per 1.0 m3 of gaseous and 1 liter of liquid fuel, oxygen or air is used as an oxidizer, the presence of hydrocarbon fuel, carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide (CO and CO2) in the combustion products is registered, and with a decrease or increase in content of such products, the oxidizer supply is respectively increased or decreased within the specified range.

EFFECT: increased environmental efficiency by reducing the emission of carbon oxides by burning predominantly hydrogen and separating carbon from exhaust gases.
