FIELD: mechanical engineering; fuel systems of internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: method comes to obtaining carbon mon oxide and hydrogen-containing gases from liquid fuel and adding the gases to fuel-air mixture. Novelty is that no catalysts are used in process of obtaining gases from over-rich fuel mixture and thermal decomposition of fuel on surface of activator heated above autoignition temperature of mixture. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of supply.
