SUBSTANCE: invention relates to dentistry and morphology, and can be used for morphological and morphometric studies. A method for manufacturing a preparation of a thin section of tooth enamel for morphological and morphometric studies of enamel with atomic force and inverted microscopy includes the following steps: placing a native tooth in a 10% formaldehyde solution; cutting the tooth and obtaining a workpiece of the preparation of the thin section of the tooth enamel; dehydration and fixation of the preparation of the preparation of the thin section of the tooth enamel by polymerization in a mixture of epoxy resin and hardener; grinding the surface of the saw cut of the preparation of the tooth enamel section and its polishing to the 14th class of cleanliness with washing the section with distillate after completing the stages of grinding and polishing; drying the preparation of a thin section of tooth enamel; etching the surface of the microsection with 37% phosphoric acid and washing it with distillate, according to the invention, additionally, finishing treatment is carried out — cleaning of the macro- and microcapillary-porous system of surface and subsurface inhomogeneities of the preparation of the microsection of the tooth enamel from technological impurities in the form of nano-sized particles of dispersed material of the tooth enamel, grinding and polishing materials, by a three-stage high-amplitude low-frequency ultrasonic treatment-cleaning of the preparation of a thin section of tooth enamel.

EFFECT: invention improves the quality of tooth enamel cut preparations and reliability of morphological and morphometric assessments of micro- and ultrastructural inhomogeneities of tooth enamel.
