SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to cancer treatment. A composition for topical application for the treatment of skin cancer and/or skin tumors contains at least one glycoalkaloid, at least one viscosity modifier and at least one keratolytic agent, where at least one glycoalkaloid comprises solasodine glycoside, at least one viscosity modifier is xanthan gum, at least one keratolytic agent is lactic acid, while the composition contains 0.2–2 w/w% of xanthan gum, 4–10 w/w% of lactic acid, 5–10 w/w% of salicylic acid and 3–5 w/w% of urea. Also disclosed is a method for producing a composition and a composition obtained by this method, a method for treating skin cancer and/or skin tumors in a patient, using the composition in the topical treatment of skin cancer and/or skin tumors and in the manufacture of a drug for topical treatment of skin cancer and/or skin tumors, the use of at least one glycoalkaloid with at least one viscosity modifier and with at least one keratolytic agent in the manufacture of a drug for the topical treatment of skin cancer and/or skin tumors.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides an improved stable dosage form of glycoalkaloids.
