FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemotherapy. Disclosed is method of treating cancer, other than melanoma, consisting in cancer cell apoptosis. Method involves administering a therapeutically effective amount of dexanabinol or its salt or solvate, where cancer represents one or more of following: liver cancer, oesophageal cancer, pancreatic cancer, small cell lung cancer and gastric carcinoma.
EFFECT: technical result consists in cancer cell apoptosis and in their lower resistance to dexanabinol compared to currently used chemotherapeutic agents.
