SUBSTANCE: invention relates to laboratory diagnostics, and can be used to assess the risk of an adverse outcome in patients with a new coronavirus infection COVID-19. A study of biological indicators is carried out. In addition, the risk indicator (PR) is assessed according to the following formula PR=(13X1+16X2+X3+18Х4+27 Х5)/100, where X1 is the patient's age, years; X2 is the content of urea in the blood, mmol/l; X3 is the content of lactate dehydrogenase in the blood, U/l; Х4 is body mass index, kg/m2; X5 is the proportion of unsaturated oxygen hemoglobin, %. When receiving a sum greater than or equal to 18.5, a high risk of an unfavorable outcome of the disease is predicted.
EFFECT: method provides the possibility of obtaining a numerical indicator characterizing the probability of death in patients with COVID-19, which can be used to further improve the routing and management of patients in order to increase the survival of patients, through the use of mathematical modeling and prediction methods using routine laboratory and clinical data.
