FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to clinical diagnosis, and can be used to assess the likelihood of an adverse outcome of the disease in patients with severe COVID-19-associated pneumonia. To predict, the age of the patient is determined, the presence of CT-4 upon admission to the hospital, the presence of septic shock, the index of oxygenation according to the results of the gas composition of arterial blood, the index of the ratio of lactate dehydrogenase to albumin, the index of the ratio of fibrinogen to platelets, the level of lymphocytes and the level of urea. According to the original formula, the risk of death (P) is determined. When receiving a result P greater than or equal to 0.5, a high risk of death is predicted.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to predict the risk of death in patients with severe COVID-19-associated pneumonia, which in turn makes it possible to improve patient routing and management to increase patient survival.
