SUBSTANCE: technique for determining the dielectric properties of destructive materials at microwave frequencies. Method for determining the dielectric properties of destructive materials during heating is proposed, which includes tuning a resonator without a sample, consisting of a destructive material, covered with quartz glass, and with a sample resonating at a resonant frequency, heating the resonator with and without a sample, measuring temperature changes in the length of the resonator, determining the temperature dependence of the permittivity and the tangent of the dielectric loss angle of the destructive material.

EFFECT: increasing the accuracy of determining dielectric properties of destructive materials.
