FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to determination of dielectric properties of destructive materials at superhigh frequencies during heating. Disclosed is a method for determining dielectric properties of a coating from a destructive material during heating, including tuning of resonator without sample and with sample into resonance at resonance frequency, heating of resonator with sample and without sample, measurement of temperature changes in the length of the resonator and determination of the temperature dependence of the dielectric constant of the sample, sample consists of a cuvette made of quartz glass mounted on a piston, then a plate of quartz glass is placed in the cuvette, on lower surface of which there is a layer of coating from destructive material, and temperature dependence of dielectric permeability of coating from destructive material is calculated by formula: .

EFFECT: high accuracy of determining dielectric properties of a coating that does not have structural strength, from destructive materials in a hollow cylindrical resonator during heating by reducing the ingress of combustion products into the measuring volume of the resonator and excluding the ingress of combustion products on the conductive surface of the piston.
