FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ultrahigh-frequency measuring equipment and is intended for measurement of specific resistance of materials. Essence: in measured frequency range waveguide resonator with movable end piston is serially tuned to resonance at a number of fixed frequencies. At each resonance frequency the Q-factor and position of the end piston are measured, their magnitudes are recorded. Thickness of sample of material is measured and installed on end piston of resonator. End face on each of fixed frequencies lower end piston by thickness of sample material, measure and fix Q value, measure and fix value of resonant frequency of resonator with sample material. Calculating the value of specific resistance of material by formula, which includes measured values. Proposed device comprises superhigh-frequency generator connected in series, measuring resonator and super-high-frequency receiver. End face piston of waveguide cylindrical resonator tuned to wave H01, is movable, with the possibility of its output from the resonator and is connected to the movement mechanism equipped with the end piston movement sensor. Superhigh-frequency generator, super-high-frequency receiver, displacement mechanism and displacement sensor of end piston are connected to computer.

EFFECT: high measurement accuracy in the frequency band.
