FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a technique for determining the dielectric properties of materials at ultrahigh frequencies of destructive materials. A method for determining the dielectric properties of destructive materials when heated includes tuning a resonator without a sample and with a sample into resonance at the resonant frequency, heating the resonator with and without a sample, measuring temperature changes in the length of the resonator and determining the temperature dependence of the dielectric constant of the sample, wherein the sample consists of a destructive material closed on both sides by the lower and the upper quartz glasses, the temperature dependence of the dielectric constant of the destructive material is calculated using the proposed formula and the temperature dependence of the dielectric loss tangent of the sample is additionally determined by the change in the transmission coefficient of the resonator without the sample and with the sample, and then the dielectric loss tangent of the destructive material is calculated sample.
EFFECT: improved accuracy of determining the dielectric properties of destructive materials in a hollow cylindrical resonator when heated by reducing the ingress of combustion products into the measuring volume of the resonator and eliminating the ingress of combustion products onto the conductive surface of the piston.
