SUBSTANCE: invention is related to design of reed musical instruments and can be used in manufacturing accordions intended for performance of national melodies, with the right keyboard in form of keys. The key mechanism of a pneumatic reed musical instrument is represented by voice bars with melody resonators, melody keys, each of which is connected to a valve that closes the voice hole of the deck and an elastic element, and it is provided with key guides, through holes are made in the keys, and the valves are rigidly installed at the ends of the keys behind the through holes, the guides are made in the deck, and the keys are installed in the guides with the possibility of longitudinal movement under the action of the user's finger flexors until the axes of the voice holes of the deck and the through holes of the keys are aligned, between which the voice bars with resonators are placed, thereby ensuring unhindered passage of air flow through voice bars with resonators, and when the load is removed from the keys, the latter return to their original position under the action of elastic elements, blocking the passage of air flow.

EFFECT: simplification of the device and enabling playing a musical instrument for people with a number of afflictions of the hands.
