FIELD: nuclear power engineering
SUBSTANCE: design of a system for drying a reinforced concrete body of a fast neutron nuclear reactor with a liquid metal coolant. The drying system is additionally provided with a second group of annular manifolds, to which untightened tubular channels and vertical risers are connected, installed inside a sealed intermediate metal shell. Annular manifolds of the second group are connected to each other and to a prefabricated steam and gas outlet manifold by means of risers, and the lowest of these annular collectors is a water vapor and gas collection manifold and is connected to a water vapor and gas outlet branch pipe made in a reinforced concrete body and equipped with shut-off valves. The first group of annular manifolds with vertical risers and untightened tubular channels is located outside the sealed intermediate metal shell, and with the help of risers of this group is also connected to a combined steam and gas outlet manifold, while the lowest of the manifolds of the first group is also a water vapor and gas outlet and is connected to the second water vapor and gas outlet pipe made in a reinforced concrete body.
EFFECT: accelerating the process of drying the concrete of a nuclear reactor vessel, as well as increasing its efficiency.
