FIELD: physics; nuclear.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns containers for long dry storage and transportation of the spent nuclear fuel (SNF). The metal-concrete container contains metal internal, intermediate and external cylindrical covers with the bottoms, cavities between them are filled by the reinforced concrete. Tight overlapping of the mentioned cavities and an internal cavity of the container which is executed in a kind at least two covers, established one over another on the general metal basis and forming with the last two concentric pressure sealing contours. The armature is placed in a cavity between intermediate and external cylindrical covers. As concrete the container contains especially strong super-heavy concrete. The cavity between internal and intermediate cylindrical covers is filled by concrete of smaller density, than density of concrete by which the cavity between intermediate and external cylindrical covers is filled. Gas pipelines with collectors are established in each of cavities between cylindrical covers in concrete filling. Each collector is executed with connection possibility through the corresponding hermetic valve supplied with the device locking, with atmosphere in concrete drying at manufacturing of the container and - with external system of the analysis of the gas environment in concrete filling in storage of the container loaded with SNF. One of hermetic valves is mounted in the nest executed from an outer side in a wall of mentioned tight overlapping, and another-is placed in concrete filling of the cavity formed by intermediate and external cylindrical covers, and established from the interior of an external cylindrical cover. The container is supplied with a demountable damping ring element executed with possibility of dense coverage of an external cylindrical cover, established on the top part of the container before its loading with SNF and removed from the container for the period when the container is placed in a demountable damping casing for transportation to a nuclear waste disposal site.
EFFECT: increase of handling safety with the metal-concrete container loaded by spent nuclear fuel (SNF).
