FIELD: medicine, traumatology and orthopedics.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the surgical treatment of fractures of the radial head. An endoprosthesis is made intraoperatively from polymethyl methacrylate which consists of a cylindrical axisymmetric head with a concave spherical proximal surface and a stem located perpendicular to it. The connection of the head with the stem is carried out thanks to the reinforcement with a spongy screw. In this case, the proximal component is made using a hollow transparent cylindrical body with a rod, and the articular surface of the proximal component is formed using a tool containing a spherical surface with parameters close to the anatomical parameters of the contact surface of the native LC head. As the cement mixture hardens, the piston is removed from the cylindrical body, followed by insertion of a cancellous or cortical screw into the resulting workpiece, not reaching the formed articular surface, and keeping the workpiece until the cement mixture hardens, after which the resulting proximal component of the prosthesis is removed from the cylindrical body. After resection of the proximal metaepiphysis of the radius, the distal component of the HLC prosthesis is formed in the treated bone marrow canal, for which the bone marrow canal is filled with portions of the previously prepared cement mixture, into which the screw of the proximal component is then immersed, followed by holding the formed endoprosthesis until the cement mixture hardens.
EFFECT: method provides primary axial and rotational stability of fixation of the endoprosthesis, allows to restore natural anatomical movements in the elbow and wrist joints due to intraoperative production of an axisymmetric individual endoprosthesis to replace the head of the radius in case of multicomminuted fractures of the GLK in the resected area of the proximal metaepiphysis of the radius.
