FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: method for identifying a candidate peptide presented by the major histocompatibility complex (MHC) is described. The method includes the following steps: expressing a recombinant MHC-peptide complex in a reporter cell line; detecting and isolating cells that express one or more recombinant(s) complex(s) MHC-peptide on the cell surface; determining the amino acid sequence of the candidate peptide that is presented on the cell surface of the cell isolated in the previous step; identifying the candidate peptide as presented by MHC. Also a method for determining the binding affinity of MHC to a candidate peptide is described.

EFFECT: technical result is providing means and methods for reliable identification of peptides, in particular TSAs, which are effectively presented by APCs.
