SUBSTANCE: method of emitting a signal of a cellular base station with improved characteristics consists of receiving a signal of a serving cellular base station, extracting its identification data, if there is a base station reselection bias indicator in the signal, it is increased, a signal similar to the received one is formed with similar identification data of the serving cellular base station and an increased value of the reselection bias indicator of such a station, if any, the start time of the data packet transmission and its duration are determined, the proper transmission time of the data packet and its duration equal to the obtained values are set, the power of the received signal of the serving base station is determined, the generated signal is emitted taking into account the set transmission time of the data packet and its duration with a power exceeding the power of the received signal.

EFFECT: reduction of likelihood of violation of confidentiality of information of a cell phone subscriber by an unauthorized user by changing the parameters of the serving base station and increasing the signal strength, similar to the signal of the serving base station.
