SUBSTANCE: invention relates to information security in mobile communication networks. In the method, the beam axis of the main lobe of the beam pattern of the base station is periodically shifted with the possibility of changing the direction of the main radiation or reception and, accordingly, space of reliable reception of a signal by a base station from a subscriber device of an intruder, and in order to detect unauthorized connection to the radio network of the facility of subscriber devices using antennas with a narrow beam pattern of distribution of electromagnetic waves, RSRQ quality parameters are analysed, and/or RSRP level, and/or uplink useful signal to noise level SINR, and/or the ratio of the downlink useful signal to the SINR noise level of the received signal from all subscriber devices located in the base station area, before and after the beam axis shift of the main lobe of the base station beam pattern, and in case of deviation of quality parameters of SINR UL, and/or SINR DL, and/or RSRQ, and/or RSRP of the received signal by a predetermined value relative to the quality parameters of received signals from subscriber devices authorized in the radio network of the facility, detecting the presence of an attempt at unauthorized connection to the base station.
EFFECT: high level of information security of the facility by creating the possibility of preventing and detecting unauthorized connection of subscriber devices to the radio network of the facility.
