FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: combine harvester contains working units for performing certain partial processes of the general process for processing the harvested crop, a driver assistance system for controlling working units, containing a memory device for storing data regarding the parameters of at least one control process, and a computing device for processing of the data stored in a storage device, as well as a graphical user interface. The driver assistance system, together with the respective work units provided for the execution of certain particular work processes, forms autonomous automatic adjustment devices for optimizing the control of the work units carrying out the particular work processes. The driver assistance system further comprises a process manager configured to control the autonomous adjustment devices and communication between the autonomous adjustment devices. The process manager is configured to interact with the operator. Through said interaction, it is possible to edit at least one parameter of at least one control process stored by the process manager in a storage device for control purposes. The process manager is configured to autonomously optimize the overall processing process of the combine harvester in accordance with a given harvesting process strategy by coordinating control of autonomous automatic adjustment devices. Each stand-alone automatic control device receives input data and autonomously generates output data specific to the respective work unit from the input data. The output data is used to change the adjustment parameters of the working units.
EFFECT: reducing the load on the operator in the overall control of the machine.
