FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: method for carrying out the agricultural harvesting process in the field by means of a group of agricultural harvesting machines provides that each of harvesting machines of the group contains working units for processing the harvested crop, made with the possibility of adjustment by means of machine parameters to adapt to corresponding harvesting conditions, data exchange between harvesting machines of the group via a wireless data transmission network. One harvesting machine of the group is made in the form of a self-optimizing harvesting machine containing an operator assistance system for automatic generating machine parameters optimized from the point of view of processing the harvested crop. From the self-optimizing harvesting machine, optimized parameters of the machine are transmitted over the data transmission network and received by other harvesting machines of the group that do not have the operator assistance system for automatic generating machine parameters optimized from the point of view of processing the harvested crop.
EFFECT: productivity of the harvesting process is improved by optimizing parameters of harvesting machines.
