SUBSTANCE: invention is related in particular to methods for detecting moving objects using a semi-active multi-position system of Doppler receivers with antenna arrays (AA), receiving and processing radio signals. The result is achieved by the fact that in the proposed method, pairs of multi-channel receivers with antenna arrays are placed on a straight line symmetrically about its centre, with the second receiver in the pair being auxiliary, and the lines of sight of the antennas are directed orthogonally to the surfaces of the hemispheres of possible penetration of objects at the distant boundaries, after which, according to the results of joint work of the pairs of receivers, objects are detected.

EFFECT: increased probability of detecting objects with close projections of velocity vectors.
