FIELD: communication services in transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the management of such services based on the quality of interaction (QoE). The technical result is to provide automatic corrective action for conditions related to QoE based on service level triggers. In transit communications services are delivered over the network to content consuming devices on one or more vehicles. Within the measurement window, in order to obtain network level delivery (NLD) measurement results, in-transit communication service delivery can be measured, and in-transit communication service consumption by one or more content consuming devices can be measured in order to obtain user-level data consumption (CLC) measurements. The NLD and CLC measurements can be used to calculate an Interaction Quality Score (QoE), which indicates the quality of the service provided in terms of one or more passengers' perception of one or more vehicles. The QoE metric can be used to update the stored service level data. An update may cause one or more service level triggers to be generated.

EFFECT: automatic corrective action for conditions related to QoE based on service level triggers.
