FIELD: metallurgical processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to introduction of ultrafine powders into the metal melt for alloying, regulating the process of structure formation or refining from harmful impurities. The system for supplying a reagent to a metal melt placed in a metallurgical vessel contains a gas flow regulator supplied from the gas supply system, a pipeline for transporting gas with a high-frequency device, a mill for grinding the reagent, a purge device containing a collector with granular material and purge sections with capillaries. The heat exchange surface of the purge device is formed by the surface of the granules placed in the manifold of the purge unit and the capillaries of the purge sections, which makes it possible to heat the gas-powder mixture.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of supply and distribution of the reagent in the metal melt by providing a fine-bubble method for supplying the gas-powder mixture into the melt and reducing the rate of passage of the gas-powder mixture through the melt.
