EXHAUST SYSTEM FOR ENGINE Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC B62M27/02

Abstract RU 2796710 C2

FIELD: mechanical engineering; snowmobiles.

SUBSTANCE: snowmobile contains a frame, a ski, an engine, an exhaust pipe, a turbocharger. Snowmobile, according to the first variant, where the bypass pipe contains an inlet, hydraulically connected to the outlet pipe. The valve is configured to selectively move between the first and second positions. The snowmobile, according to the second version, includes a bypass pipe hydraulically connected to the outlet of the exhaust pipe. The valve has a bypass position to bypass the turbine. The turbocharger unit for hydraulic connection with the exhaust pipe includes a turbo heater containing a turbine, a housing, a bypass pipe. The bypass branch pipe contains the inlet opening of the branch pipe, the bypass passage, the passage of the turbo-heater. The bypass passage forms a hydraulic connection between the nozzle inlet and the bypass outlet defined by the bypass nozzle. The turbocharger assembly, according to the first variant, in which the nozzle inlet is defined by the bypass pipe and defines the flow axis through the center of the nozzle inlet. The bypass pipe contains a valve made with the possibility of selective movement between open and closed positions. The turbocharger assembly, according to the second embodiment, in which the exhaust pipe contains a turbocharger inlet defined by the turbine. The bypass contains an opening. The turbocharger passage forms a hydraulic connection between the manifold inlet and the turbocharger inlet. The branch pipe for hydraulic connection with the turbocharger housing contains the inlet part of the branch pipe, the inlet opening, the first and second inlet parts of the branch pipe, a flow divider.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of fuel consumption.
